Beachside Resort & Conference Center is located in Key West, Florida. It's located at the former site of the Flagler railroad station and was completed in 2007.
Signage design incorporated the sea and sun so famous in Key West in a way that worked well with the resort branding and architecture. Signs are custom designed using a wave pattern on top that alludes to the sun setting without being obvious. The wave pattern was carried over to most of the signage except for the restaurant.
Typical ADA Room Signage were made from two acrylic backers with a polymer topper. This created depth and visual interest which accentuated the sun and wave design.
